Terms of service
Last updated: 10 October 2026
The short version
- Playing is free. Creating decks requires an adult account.
- Decks are made by users and by an AI model. We check them, but we do not guarantee them and are not responsible for their content.
- You are responsible for what you submit. Do not submit anything unlawful, hateful, or unsuitable for children.
- We record who submitted each deck (account and IP address) and may hand that record to law enforcement on lawful request.
- The service is provided "as is", and our liability is limited to the extent the law allows.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
MojiWords (mojiwords.com, "the Service") is operated by MB Zarocloud, company code 306665294, Raudondvario plentas 182, LT-47149 Kaunas, Lithuania ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these terms.
2. The Service
MojiWords lets anyone play word decks (flash cards, drag and drop, and quizzes) that teach English words with translations into the learner's own language. Signed-in creators can submit word lists, which an AI model turns into decks. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, or the Service as a whole, at any time and without notice, including free features and plan limits. The Service is subject to termination at our discretion, and payments are not refunded except where the law requires otherwise (see sections 7 and 13).
3. Playing
Playing decks is free and needs no account. Players, including children, may use the Service only under the supervision and with the permission of a parent, guardian, or teacher, who is responsible for choosing suitable decks. Progress is saved only in the player's browser; we cannot restore it if it is cleared.
4. Creator accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and decks. You confirm this at first sign-in.
- You sign in with a Google or Facebook account and are responsible for keeping access to it secure.
- One person may hold one account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared or transferred.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, abuse the Service, or stay inactive for a long time.
- You may delete your account at any time by emailing mojiwords@pm.me from the registered address.
5. Your content
Ownership and licence
You keep any rights you hold in the word lists, titles, and descriptions you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, translate, adapt, reproduce, display, and distribute Your Content and the deck generated from it, for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Service. This licence lasts for as long as the deck is published, and thereafter only as needed for backups, legal compliance, and resolving disputes.
Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for Your Content and for the decks created from it. You confirm that you have the right to submit it and that it, and the resulting deck, does not:
- infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights;
- contain personal data about you or anyone else, including children;
- contain profanity, sexual content, violence, hate, harassment, or anything else unsuitable for children aged 5 to 12;
- contain links, advertising, contact details, or spam;
- break any applicable law.
Published decks are public
Published decks are visible to everyone and may be indexed by search engines. They are published anonymously unless you choose to show your name on them; your email address is never shown. You may unpublish or delete your decks at any time.
Submission records and law enforcement
For every word list you submit we record your account identifier, the IP address used, and the time of submission, and keep that record with the deck. If a deck is unlawful or is reported, we may use this record to identify the submitter and may disclose it to law enforcement, courts, or other competent authorities on lawful request, or where necessary to protect children, other users, or our rights.
6. User-generated and AI-generated content
Decks are created by users and processed by an automated AI model, which extracts, translates, and illustrates words. We run automated checks for content unsuitable for children before a deck is published, and we review reports from the community. However, we do not pre-approve decks and cannot guarantee that every deck is accurate, complete, appropriate, or free of errors. Translations may be wrong, emoji may be misleading, and a deck may not match its title.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no responsibility or liability for user-generated or AI-generated content, including its accuracy, legality, or suitability. The creator of a deck is responsible for it. We are a hosting provider within the meaning of EU law (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, the Digital Services Act) and act on notices of illegal or unsuitable content.
Reporting. If you find a deck that is wrong, unsuitable for children, or infringes your rights, email mojiwords@pm.me with the deck link and the reason. We review reports promptly and may hide or remove content at our sole discretion, without notice and without liability to the creator.
7. Plans, limits, and prices
- Playing is free for everyone.
- Creating decks is offered as a free trial with limits (such as decks per month and words per deck). The trial requires no payment details. We may change, reduce, or withdraw the trial and its limits at any time, including to control costs.
- A paid Plus plan is planned. Its price (shown in euros, including VAT where applicable) and features will be set out on the pricing page when it launches. Paid plans will be subject to additional terms, including EU consumers' rights to withdraw within 14 days where applicable.
- Plan limits are enforced automatically. Attempts to bypass them are a breach of these terms.
- No refunds. Fees for paid plans are non-refundable, including when we change features, reduce limits, suspend your account for a breach, or discontinue the Service, except where mandatory consumer law gives you a right to a refund (for example the 14-day withdrawal right for EU consumers, or where a digital service is discontinued and the law requires a pro-rata refund).
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful or harmful, or to target children with inappropriate content;
- attempt to bypass safety checks, limits, or access controls;
- scrape, bulk-download, or copy the Service or its decks, except through features we provide;
- interfere with the Service, send automated requests, or probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
- impersonate anyone or misrepresent your relationship with us;
- use the AI generation feature to generate content for purposes other than making word decks for children.
9. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, name, logo, mascot, and the starter decks we publish, belongs to MB Zarocloud or its licensors and is protected by law. You may use the Service for personal, educational, and classroom purposes. You may not copy, modify, sell, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by these terms or by law.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. MojiWords is a learning aid, not a substitute for a teacher or a certified language course. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any deck will be correct or suitable for a particular child.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MB Zarocloud, its owners, employees, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or learning outcomes, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service or any content on it, whether based on contract, tort, statute, or any other legal theory, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the same extent, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) EUR 50.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for intentional misconduct or gross negligence. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep all rights granted to you by the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
12. Indemnity
If you are a creator, you agree to compensate and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from Your Content, from decks created from it, or from your breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account as described in section 4. We may suspend or terminate your access, remove content, or close the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except where the law requires one (section 7). Sections 5, 6, and 9 to 15 survive termination.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version. For material changes we will notify creators at the next sign-in and may ask for renewed acceptance. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of the EU country where you live. Disputes are subject to the courts of Lithuania, or, for EU consumers, the courts of your country of residence where the law so provides. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We will try to resolve any issue informally first: write to mojiwords@pm.me.
